Our Lady of Mount Carmel was established in 1901 as an Italian Parish. The fotrmer church was located at Wills Road and Baldwin Avenue. An Cemetery was established in 1904 and contains 33 graves and was recently rehabilitated. This parish was dissolved in 1913 and Saint Rita was its successor, two years later when it was established.
